Melissa Bozzomo Mosley

Being born and raised in western Connecticut afforded the opportunity to be surrounded by a diverse ethnic community. My heritage has fostered a love and appreciation of cooking and enjoying various cuisines. My paternal grandparents were Italian-Americans. My maternal grandparents were Portuguese-Americans and they were my inspiration in creating and naming Cozinha. Co-zeen-ya translates to cuisine or kitchen. Portuguese cuisine includes stewed-meat dishes along with fish entrees. While my menu will offer some traditional Portuguese entrees, you will find that I enjoy preparing all kinds of dishes from international cuisine to American comfort favorites.
